Orifice drilling in glass allows to extend the spectrum of applications. Due to drilling, it is possible to use glass in civil engineering where load bearing elements like frames are not to be applied. This gives such opportunities to formulate the load bearing constructions that may be limited only by the imagination of the architects as well as to shape the building surroundings. Drilling the orifices extends glass applications inside the premises as decorative elements of the décor and household appliances.
In line with the requests posed by our Clients are perform the grinding (chamfering) of the orifice edges, which eliminates the slightest irregularities occurring during the drilling. The process takes place while making the orifices and requires additional tools to be mounted on a hollow drill bit.
Maximum orifice diameter: 70 mm
(higher diameters are performed on CNC centres)
Minimum orifice diameter: 4 mm
Maximum glass size: 3000 x 2000 mm
Glass thickness range: 3-19 mm
